Although now grown up with a young family of her own, Debbie has been performing on stage since she was 3 years old. She trained initially at The Paris School of Dancing, gaining her Teaching Diploma in Ballet, Tap and Stage dance. At the age of 9 Debbie won her first starring role in the pantomime Babes in the Wood at the Princes Hall in Aldershot and at 11 was chosen to play the leading role in Annie.
At 13 years of age Debbie attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School in Marylebone and went on to perform in The Night Of A Thousand Stars alongside Marti Webb in London’s West End. During her time at Sylvia Young’s, Debbie performed in numerous cabaret shows and pantomimes, as well regularly modelling for leading catalogues.
For the main part of her career Debbie was a lead singer fronting bands aboard Princess cruise lines, although she has also enjoyed some TV success when she was featured on ITV’s Stars in Their Eyes and worked on the BBC’s Eastenders and Casualty.
As well as enjoying a career in the Arts, Debbie has been teaching singing, dancing and drama to children for over 20 years and is currently loving inspiring the young people at The Secret Stage School.
